As a psychodynamic counsellor, I believe that our past experiences and relationships shape how we view ourselves and relate to others in the present. My approach involves working together to understand these patterns, helping you gain insights that can lead to meaningful and lasting change.
I also draw from person-centred therapy, which means I meet you where you are, without judgement, allowing your needs and experiences to guide our work together. This combined approach helps us explore both your past experiences and present challenges, moving at a pace that feels right for you.
Our sessions provide a confidential space where you can speak freely about whatever's on your mind. Sometimes this might involve exploring your early years and relationships, while other times we might focus on current challenges and immediate concerns. Everything we discuss is treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality.
My practice is based in Ascot, where I offer both in-person and online counselling sessions. Each session lasts 60 minutes, and we would meet at the same time each week.
Online counselling has become an increasingly valuable way to connect, offering flexibility and convenience while maintaining the same level of therapeutic support. It can be particularly beneficial if you:
Whether we meet online or in person, I provide the same warm, attentive, and professional support. My therapy room in Ascot offers a quiet, private space with dedicated parking, while online sessions use a secure platform that ensures our conversations remain confidential.
Throughout my practice, I've supported clients through a wide range of challenges. While I work with many different issues, I have particular experience in helping people with:
Anxiety and stress management, drawing from my background in high-pressure environments
Career transitions and work-related challenges
Relationship difficulties
Depression and low mood
Self-esteem and confidence issues
Loss and bereavement
Life changes and personal development
Identity and purpose
Every person's experience is unique, and this list isn't exhaustive. If you're unsure whether counselling might help with your specific situation, I encourage you to get in touch for an initial conversation.

I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation. It is an opportunity for you to tell me a little bit about what is going on for you at the moment and for me to let you know something about me. This is followed by an initial session, with the aim being to see if it might feel helpful for us to move forward together.
The best way to get started is to email me or use the contact form. I aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours during working days.
